Software Engineer Node.js H/F

Responsibilities

• Take part and drive object squad projects, contributing to all steps of the life cycle: design, implementation, testing, and production.
• Use native Node.js libraries for storage services and Golang for Kubernetes operators.
• Collaborate with team members to unblock technical challenges.
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve software while ensuring an amazing user experience.
• Develop robust, secure, and well‑designed fault‑tolerant high‑performance distributed systems.
• Work with architects, product owners, and leads to deliver the Scality roadmap.

Technical Skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• French residents only
• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience developing and testing clear, robust code with performance in mind.
• Experience in multiple languages like Node.js, Go

  Lang, and Type

  Script.
• Experience in storage and distributed systems space.
• Strong skills around observability, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Exhibit care for software quality and all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

Offer Details

• Contract type: CDI, Temps complet
• Salary: €55,000 – €95,000 per year based on experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend and distributed systems.
• Experience with object storage services and Kubernetes operators.
• Strong knowledge of code quality and software development lifecycle.
