Why We Need You

Your mission is to build, maintain, and evolve the software and infrastructure components of our Load Balancer and Edge Services platforms to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable network solutions on our sovereign cloud.

Team

You will be part of a team of 5 people where the Product Manager is an integral part of the group. We operate in sprints and manage a rich technical ecosystem including Load Balancer as a Service (L4/L7) and Edge Services (Caching, WAF). You will contribute to the design and implementation of new products like API Gateway and anti-DDoS solutions.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Design robust APIs and contribute to the definition of new service architectures.
  • Develop new features and evolve the stack for Load Balancer and Edge Services.
  • Manage and optimize the CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring tools.
  • Contribute to technical debt management, refactoring, and performance optimization.
  • Maintain the existing production stack and resolve complex bugs or technical incidents.
  • Perform code reviews and participate in team rituals to foster knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate daily with cross‑functional teams to integrate network products across the Scaleway ecosystem.
  • Conduct technical studies and Proof of Concepts for emerging network technologies.

Hard Skills

  • Golang is the preferred language. You should have at least some hands‑on experience with Go, even if your primary language is Python, Rust or C++.
  • Good experience in DevOps practices (Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab CI/CD).
  • At ease with Linux operating system: administration, fine tuning, troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Networking fundamentals (TCP, TLS, HTTP, Load Balancing, WAF).
  • Experience with database and messaging systems (PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with Observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).

  • Rigorous and detail‑oriented in development and documentation.
