About the role

As a Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team at Entropia, you will build and maintain the infrastructure for serving our AI solutions at scale. We are looking for software engineers with past infrastructure experience building large-scale distributed systems who are excited to build the foundational infrastructure for a fast growing startup.This role is based in Paris, France. We mainly use an in-person work model, with a flexible work-from-home policy.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy a globally-redundant distributed system using Kubernetes, emphasising reliability.
• Scale our infrastructure to handle large amount of requests and data per month, spread across multiple databases (PostgreSQL DBs, vector DBs, Redis, Workflow workers).
• Ensure our infrastructure adheres to the highest levels of security constraints.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• Enable the engineering organisation to move fast by setting up standards, tooling, processes and culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and scaling distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in the inner workings of infrastructure-layer software (Kubernetes, Databases, OS, Cloud Storage, etc.).
• A keen eye for detail and an intuitive sense for spotting potential issues before they arise.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality, reliable products in dynamic environments.
• Strong programming skills and a solid foundation in Computer Science principles.
