About Your Team And Mission
What if your next job wasn't just about coding, but about orchestrating AI to code alongside you?
At GitGuardian, we're not watching the AI revolution from the sidelines—we're integrating it deeply into both our products and our internal processes. We're looking for a Senior engineer ready to tackle a new frontier: leading our AI productivity efforts as this field rapidly evolves.
You will be joining a team of 2 experienced engineers in Developer Efficiency, and working closely with our 40 engineers.
As an AI Productivity Engineer, you'll be responsible for researching, experimenting with, and integrating AI tools that improve developers' daily work. Your goal is to boost tech team productivity without sacrificing code quality or maintainability. You'll also be a key driver of change management around these tools.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be
Increase AI Adoption

- Test and industrialize AI practices, by building POCs, scripts, and internal integrations
- Train developers and document best practices for AI-assisted development
- Measure impact on delivery timelines, deployment frequency, and code quality
- Drive change management and evangelize AI adoption across engineering teams
Enhance Development Tooling
- Propose concrete integrations into our stack (Python, Rust, Typescript) and CI/CD pipeline
- Act as a force multiplier for engineering teams by developing and championing AI workflows that accelerate roadmap feature delivery, with your own practice serving as validation
- Optimize development workflows with AI-assisted tools
- Build and maintain internal productivity tools
Enhance CI/CD Processes
- Audit the complete CI/CD chain: friction points, token costs, baseline DORA metrics
- Integrate AI tooling into the pipeline (automated tests, changelog generation, code review assistance)
- Streamline build processes and reduce lead time from code to production
- Monitor and optimize AI budget: track costs/tokens and implement quota policies
