Software Engineer

IT Search has partnered with a well-funded, high-growth consumer technology startup in Paris to hire an experienced Software Engineer.

The company is building a new approach to social products and has attracted backing from leading international investors. With a highly international team and ambitious plans for growth, they're now expanding their engineering function.

This is a chance to join a small, high-performing engineering team where you'll have significant ownership and a direct impact on the product and technical direction.

You’ll work across:

• Backend systems and APIs
• Internal platforms and tooling
• Automation and data pipelines
• Architecture and technical direction

The engineering culture is highly autonomous and execution-focused, with short feedback loops and plenty of scope to take ideas from concept through to production.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years' commercial software engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and system design
• Experience with Rust, Go, Kotlin, C or C++
• Experience building scalable production systems
• Someone who enjoys ownership and working in a fast-moving environment

The team works onsite in central Paris, with relocation support available for candidates moving from within the EU. The package includes visa support, initial accommodation, professional relocation assistance and French lessons.
