Software Engineer
Summary
Software Engineer / Java – Join the Software Engineering Department of the IAMS business unit in Suresnes, France. Work within an Agile team of 15 members to design components for an innovative authentication solution deployed in the Cloud.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate actively with all members of the Agile team.
- Contribute to developing new product features.
- Perform Java and scripting developments in the context of application server deployments.
- Implement unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
- Maintain technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Java & JavaScript development.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, etc.).
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining full ownership of the quality, security, and maintainability of the generated code.
- Nice to have: Automation tools (Jenkins, Robot Framework).
- Knowledge of deployment environments such as Java application servers (WildFly), containers, Kubernetes.
- Awareness of DevOps best practices and secure programming principles (OWASP Top 10, vulnerabilities).
- Basic knowledge of development for client applications (Windows MAUI, .NET, mobile).
Education and Experience
Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) and around 2 years of working experience in Java development.
Language Skills
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing; ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, and international technical standards.
Computer Skills
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows.
Work Environment
