Software Development Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of developers and Business Analysts
• Oversee the Build and Run (N3) activities of your team
• Understand business objectives to ensure BAs translate them into functional specifications and developers turn them into concrete solutions
• Define project scope with stakeholders
• Organize and run project ceremonies (steering committees, workshops, follow-up committees, sprint reviews, etc.)
• Prioritize requirements and monitor project roadmaps
• Ensure deadlines and the quality of deliverables are met
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Identify risks, anticipate blockers, and propose action plans
• Support teams in a continuous improvement mindset
• Participate in tracking project KPIs and reporting

Qualifications

• Significant IT project management experience – minimum 6 years in a similar role required
• Proven experience leading software development teams required
• Strong understanding of business and functional issues — curious mindset
• Ability to lead or coordinate Business Analysts
• Ability to challenge requirements and structure projects
• Ability to write SQL queries is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication ability
• Analytical mindset, organizational skills, and leadership
