The Role – Software Development Manager

As a Software Development Manager , you sit at the intersection of technology, people, and culture .

Your primary mission is to grow high-performing teams and individuals , while ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-quality software aligned with Genetec’s product vision.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, inspire, and support two software development teams working on Access Control and Intrusion technologies.
• Foster a healthy, motivating, and inclusive work environment built on trust and accountability
• Coach and develop talent through continuous feedback and individual growth plans
• Actively promote and embody Genetec’s culture : collaboration, transparency, autonomy, and excellence
• Ensure strong alignment between local teams and international stakeholders

Technical Excellence & Delivery

• Partner closely with R&D experts and developers, Product Managers, and other Engineering leaders
• Support technical decision-making without micromanaging
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)
