Software Development Engineer, Controls & Diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from domain experts and end users
• Define software architecture with a focus on scalability, flexibility, and maintainability
• Select appropriate technologies, processes, and tools
• Design modern, simple, and intuitive user interfaces
• Provide deployment support for the application in coordination with project teams
• Provide timely communications to relevant stakeholders
• Monitor risk treatment and validate mitigation plans
• Participate in post‑implementation reviews by analyzing failures and issues
• Implement best practices across the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master’s (MSc/M2) in Software Engineering
• Strong proficiency in Java programming (Spring Boot)
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
• Data modeling and efficient management of various databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis)
• Web application development (Node.js, Angular, React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, etc.)
• Microservices architecture and containerized deployment (Docker & Docker Hub, Kubernetes)
• Experience designing and implementing intuitive user interfaces
• API security using OAuth2, JWT, or similar
• Experience using, setting up, and improving CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment)
• Languages: Working proficiency in English
