Our Software Architects

Hands‑on problem solvers who coach engineers on code organization, technical debt solving, and large feature implementation. They lead tech roadmaps (performance scalability, security…), experiment with new technologies, build PoCs, and ensure our architecture remains a reference in the SaaS industry.

Work with complex and cross‑cutting challenges

Building expertise around a complex codebase where analysis and modeling capabilities are key. Managing significant traffic (4.5 million monthly active users, 1 million courses played per week, 2 data centers) and a considerable volume of data, with a strong focus on clean architecture for long‑term growth. Stay hands‑on by regularly refactoring code and helping squads with their complex projects.

In a scale‑up wishing to improve itself

Align R&D on strategic subjects: architecture, stack, organization, roadmap, objectives. Increase team skills by disseminating good practices, organising workshops, and writing documentation in a context of strong international expansion.

Within a high‑level team

Our R&D unites about eighty engineers recognized for analyzing and modeling extremely complex codebases. Our decentralized peer‑review process lets everyone benefit from each other’s expertise and grow.

Within a month, you will:

• Discover 360Learning, its platform, its teams and its culture
• Become familiar with how our R&D way of working
• Understand the team's processes

Within 3 months, you will:

• Master our stack (NodeJS, VueJS, MongoDB) and our architecture
• Carry out your first complex project (e.g. implement a cache system to optimise dashboard display)
• Set up several good development practices in the team (e.g. import practices and dependencies between modules)

Within 6 to 12 months, you will:

• Be strategic in architectural choices for all important projects (e.g. design a messaging queue)
• Lead the evolution of our architecture and our technologies (e.g. better segment core objects, introduce new services or data pipelines)
• Evangelise and train R&D on these developments by defining all corresponding good practices
• Onboard new team architects

The Skill Set

• At least 8 years of experience, ideally in a Product‑Led Growth company
• Hands‑on – accustomed to working on complex codebases with a focus on software quality
• Ability to tackle transversal technical subjects impacting the R&D team and evangelise them
• Familiar with software architecture patterns and cloud expertise (Azure is a plus)
• Proficient in mentoring and developing teams’ skills on best practices, development, software design, and new stacks
• Strong grasp of algorithms
• Fluent English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent (FR)
