Software and Network Engineering Team Manager

Overview

• Lead the team: project staffing; manage the workload of employees and contractors; oversee staff skills development; monitor KPIs for the project portfolio
• Update or create the operational reference framework for activities to be carried out; structure and maintain business tools as well as platform requirements and usage; perform internal controls to ensure the framework is correctly applied
• Improve cross-functional collaboration between different disciplines to enhance overall MOE ESE delivery; foster a culture of safety, service quality and continuous improvement; contribute to supplier panel management; define and implement strategy aligned with business objectives and technological developments
• Recruit suitable profiles; conduct annual professional reviews (EAP); propose salary increases and bonuses; ensure compliance with work rules

Requirements

• Master\'s degree (Bac+5) (engineering or university) in networking, automation, industrial computing, safety-critical software or virtualized systems
• At least 8 years\' experience in a similar role
• Experience in team management, tenders/procurement and managing external service providers
• Strong general IT knowledge (operating systems, development tools, programming languages, client/server architecture)
• Strong knowledge of VMware and Proxmox virtualization environments
• Ability to use network analysis tools such as Wireshark
• Proficiency in project management techniques (scheduling, budgeting, cost control)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, decision-making ability and negotiation skills
