Software AI & Cloud Architect (SDA Team)

Location: Bull HPC sites in France: Grenoble (38), Les Clayes-sous-bois (78), Bruyères-le-Châtel (91), Bordeaux (33), Rennes (35), Toulouse (31) or Montpellier (34). Other locations in Europe or Remote options available.

What You'll Do

• Architect modern software solutions for complex bids, moving beyond standard monitoring to architecting OpenShift ecosystems and multi‑tenant environments to architect HPC/AI hybrid cloud environments.
• Partner with the existing software lead to cover an increasing volume of deals, ensuring every tender receives top-tier architectural design.
• Analyze and translate precise customer requirements into airtight technical architectures. Own the software chapters of technical proposals.
• Stand in front of CIOs and lead researchers to defend architectural choices and prove software superiority.
• Act as a bridge to Product Management and R&D, influencing future “as‑a‑Service” (aaS) software models.
• Collaborate with the wider SDA team to build financially and technically viable solutions that win Tier‑0 projects.

The Tech Stack

• Core: Kubernetes (K8s), Docker/Podman, Red Hat OpenShift.
• Virtualization: Expertise in both “Light” (Containers) and “Heavy” (KVM/VM) virtualization.
• AI Pipelines: Deep understanding of training and inference workflows.
• OS Foundation: Native-level fluency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CoreOS).
• Plus: Knowledge of Cluster management software, Slurm, InfiniBand, or parallel file systems.
