Core Competencies
- Social Strategy and Content Production Expertise across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook: you understand ways of triggering engagement and virality, such as creating video content with 500K+ organic views, growing or contributing to a social account to 100K+ followers.
- Innovation & Creativity: you are creative in your thinking about content production and have a strong grasp of emerging trends and innovative tactics.
- Influencer outreach: demonstrated ability to land influencer collaborations, co‑create content that performs, and know how to pitch, negotiate, and deliver.
- Analytical Mindset: strong understanding of the French political and social calendar—and the instinct to know when and how to insert campaigns into the news cycle. A track record of pitching stories that landed coverage in at least two national outlets.
- Political & Institutional Outreach is a plus: knowing how to identify and approach elected officials or institutional contacts to increase campaign impact.
- Be comfortable appearing on camera to present videos when needed.
- Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) in everyday work.
- Native‑level French speaker with excellent written and oral communication skills (level C1) and mandatory English proficiency (B2).
Target Experience
5+ years in social media with a track record you can show. Ideally you've worked at a digital‑first media outlet (Brut, Loopsider, Konbini, a fast‑growing political or cause‑driven page) or on a digital political campaign. You know what a strong hook looks like in the first 2 seconds of a video. You've pitched a story to a journalist and got a callback.
