Site Superintendent / Construction Manager | Environmental Management (USACE ) – Exempt Contract Contingent Basis Engagement Team – Field Engineer Labor Category STD Level Exempt Professional – NAICS – 2080 Hours per year – CONUS – Ten States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as an Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Site Superintendent/Construction Manager in the Environmental Management Industry Sector, focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as the Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO). This contract position may convert to a full‑time ProSidian employed W‑2 position.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee construction site operations; manage subcontractors; ensure project completion on time and within budget.
• Supervise site foreman, craft labor, equipment, and subcontractor/vendor field activities.
• Lead on‑site activities, manage personnel and subcontractors, control construction schedules, and proactively resolve quality and schedule issues.
• Use the Government’s QCS (Quality Control System) for schedule management, quality control requirements and submittals; maintain QCPs, daily reports and document control.
• Ensure compliance with USACE standards and contractual quality requirements through QCS and RMS integration.

QCS – Key Features

• Submittal Management – track and manage submittals to meet quality standards.
• Quality Control Plans – develop, maintain and submit QCPs for approval.
• Daily Reports – submit daily reports detailing on‑site activities.
• Scheduling – integrate with scheduling tools to monitor project timelines.
• Document Control – organize and store quality‑related documents.
• Compliance Monitoring – track contractual quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a Site Superintendent or Construction Manager with at least 3 years on ERS remediation sites.
• 7+ years in construction management and experience with environmental projects.
• Experience in schedule management and using QCS for QC requirements and submittals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (or related field).
• Preferred certifications in construction management (e.g., CCM). Professional licensure not required.

Skills Required

• Site management, team coordination, project scheduling, safety compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Adobe products.

Ancillary Details of the Roles

• Obtain required permits and licenses (environmental, building, discharge, NRC, DOT, etc.) and comply with federal, state and local laws.
• Understand and apply Technical Bulletin TB 700‑2 for MEC transport.
• Possess rights of entry on and off government property if required.
