Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
At Cititec, we’re partnering with one of Europe’s fastest-growing cloud infrastructure businesses as they continue scaling their next‑generation cloud and AI platform across the continent.
They’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team focused on reliability, automation and large-scale Kubernetes environments powering mission‑critical cloud services.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in improving the reliability, scalability and automation of a large-scale cloud platform used by engineering teams and customers globally.
Working closely with platform and software engineering teams, you’ll help build resilient infrastructure, improve observability and drive SRE best practices across Kubernetes‑based environments.
The environment is highly automated, cloud‑native and engineering‑led, with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting and improving large-scale Kubernetes platforms
- Driving infrastructure automation and reliability initiatives
- Building and improving observability, monitoring and alerting capabilities
- Working with engineering teams to improve deployment and operational processes
- Managing production infrastructure within high‑availability environments
- Supporting incident management and root cause analysis
- Helping define and improve SRE standards, SLIs and SLOs
- Contributing to CI/CD and GitOps‑driven infrastructure practices

What They’re Looking For
- Experience within an SRE, DevOps or Platform Engineering role
- Strong Kubernetes and Linux experience
- Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling
- Strong understanding of monitoring, observability and production environments
- Experience supporting cloud‑native infrastructure
- Scripting or development experience with Python, Go or Bash
- Strong troubleshooting and automation mindset
