About the role
The Portfolio Management Department is a dynamic department responsible for the long‑term strategy of the Vitry‑sur‑Seine production site, defining product strategy and managing key projects (digital, ramp‑up, product) and the project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end execution of one or multiple projects in compliance with applicable codes, regulations and company standards.
- Direct manage projects in cost, delay, quality, safety and performance (budget definition, resource allocation, schedule, risk, performance metrics).
- Own project strategy, scope, design, execution and closeout based on phase‑gate methodology.
- Responsible for project cost management: budget construction, SPE submission & approval and cost monitoring & reporting.
- Responsible for project scheduling: construct detailed schedules with dependencies, monitor adherence, identify changes and communicate status and risks.
- Ensure all studies/works are completed per user specification and prevent unapproved work.
- Maintain and communicate project performance metrics, setting high expectations for team performance.
- Own risk management: identify risks, develop mitigation plans and escalates issues/risks to stakeholders.
- Build and lead effective cross‑functional teams with open, regular communication (meetings, registers, dashboards, steering committee).
- Monitor metrics for progress and address systemic execution issues, coordinating safety, quality, schedule and cost events.
- Provide summary reports of overall cost & schedule status to client and PPM teams.
- Embrace and incorporate lessons learned and update project progress in tools (e.g., Shine) following financial rules and auditability.
- Perform regular activity reporting to client, site PPM, and global PPM where required.
- Seek best practices & digital solutions to optimize governance and interface with functional owners.
Experience
Exposure to Production, Supply Chain, Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, Project Investment, Finance, Quality and Regulatory requirements, with a minimum of 5years of total industry experience.
Strong knowledge of project management and portfolio management in a manufacturing site environment, with proven 3+years managing complex projects with significant budgets and/or team sizes.

- SMS capability for efficient, productive meetings.
Technical Skills
- Excellent project and technology management skills.
- Experience and agility on digital tools supporting project execution and monitoring.
- Understanding of industrial operations in a commercial facility and pharmaceutical industry constraints (GxP, FDA, etc.).
- Financial acumen and understanding of industrial strategy for building project strategy and business case.
Education
Scientific bachelor degree preferably in chemical, biochemical or pharmaceutical engineering or a business/finance degree.
Languages
- French – fluent.
- English – good level.
Salary Range
€64000,00 – €85333 (final compensation determined based on experience, skills, location and other relevant factors). Employees may be eligible to participate in company benefit programs.
