Portfolio Management Department is responsible for the long‑term strategy of the Vitry‑sur‑Seine production site. We define and prioritise the product strategy for the next 3‑5 years, manage key projects (digital, ramp‑up, product) and oversee the project portfolio. The role offers the opportunity to shape the 3‑5year vision of the site and contribute to the production of medicines in areas such as cancer, neuro‑degenerative diseases and cardiovascular diseases.

Main responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of one or multiple projects in compliance with applicable codes, regulations and company standards.
• Directly manage projects across cost, delay, quality, safety and performance dimensions.
• Accountable for project strategy, scope, design, execution and closeout based on the phase‑gate methodology.
• Manage project resources (internal/external) – budget definition, resource allocation, tracking and identification of gaps or excesses.
• Control project costs – budget construction, SPE submission & approval, cost monitoring and reporting.
• Construct detailed schedules with dependencies; monitor schedule adherence; identify schedule changes, impacts and communicate status and risks.
• Ensure all studies/works meet user specifications and no additional work is introduced without proper approval.
• Maintain and communicate performance metrics; set high expectations for team performance.
• Own risk management – identify risks, mitigation plans, and timely escalation of issues, risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Build effective teams across organisational and functional boundaries; facilitate open communication through regular meetings, action registers, risk and issue registers, dashboards and steering‑committee reviews.
• Monitor metrics to address systemic execution issues; coordinate responses to events affecting safety, quality, schedule and cost.
• Provide summary reports on overall cost and schedule status.
• Incorporate lessons learned; update progress summaries in tools (e.g., Shine) and comply with financial audit rules.
• Report activities to client and PPM teams at site and, when required, to the global PPM team.
• Identify best practices and digital solutions for continuous optimisation of governance and interface with functional owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5years of industry experience in Production, Supply Chain, Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, Project Investment, Finance, Quality and Regulatory spheres.
• 3+years of experience managing complex projects with significant budgets and team size in a manufacturing site environment.
• Strong knowledge of project and portfolio management; experience in managing cross‑functional teams; leadership and communication skills with multinational stakeholders.
• Excellent project and technology management skills; proven agility with digital tools supporting project execution and monitoring.
• Understanding of industrial environment, operations in a commercial facility, and constraints/regulations (GxP, FDA, etc.).
• Financial acumen and grasp of industrial strategy to build project strategy and business case.
• Scientific bachelor degree (chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical engineering) or business/finance degree.
• Languages: French (fluent) – English (good level).

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: €64000,00 – €85333, with final compensation based on experience, skills, location and other factors.
