Site Manager – North East France (Open)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of four wind farms located in the North East region of France, between Belgium, Rouen and Reims. The role reports to the Area Manager and is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance of renewable energy assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental (HSQE) – Ensure safety of all personnel, conduct audits, document incidents, lead emergency planning, and maintain HSQE standards across the portfolio.
• Contractor Management – Manage contractor performance, maintain work plans, conduct audits, collaborate in procurement, and oversee project delivery.
• Technical Operations – Operate plants safely, maximize generation, conduct inspections, coordinate HV safety, investigate outages, and participate in fault‑finding and rectification.
• Commercial Management – Deliver work within budgets, provide operating and CAPEX inputs, manage profitability, and communicate variances.
• Reporting – Produce monthly operational reports, collaborate with analysts, and develop business cases.
• On‑Call Duties – Participate in rotational on‑call rota and be available outside regular hours.

Preferred Competences

• 2-5 years of onshore wind farm management experience.
• Experience with PV plants is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of documentation, monitoring and reporting best practices.

Skills & Knowledge

• Clear written and verbal communication at all levels.
• Wind turbine fault analysis and corrective action planning.
• Strong scheduling and planning for timely task completion.
• Experience with HV/LV electrical plant operation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of Nordex, Vestas, Senvion, Enercon, GE is a plus.

Education & Experience

• Background in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil construction.
• Minimum 2‑5 years in the renewables industry with project management skills.
• Strong contractor and HSQE management experience.
