Mission
Within the operations department that carries out maintenance and modernization operations on equipment on Nuclear Power Plants, you will ensure the technical implementation and the deadline of the intervention in accordance with the contract on the Vessel Opening & Closing perimeter.
- Be technically responsible for the on‑site workers and thus ensure the launch and follow‑up of site personnel (clock‑in–hours)
- Be the client's privileged interlocutor on the technical aspect of the intervention and respond to their requests throughout the business
- Optimize the technical, contractual and economic implementation of interventions
- Ensure MTC maintenance and increase the skills of operators
- Comply with contractual requirements
- Provide the customer with advice and expertise in operation during the production phases
- Fill in all the documents for monitoring and traceability of the intervention, and use the feedback to be a source of proposals on the areas for improvement and progress
The intervention manager is in charge of managing his teams with the objective of quality and productivity. He organizes and distributes the work to the teams and ensures that the work runs smoothly in compliance with the desired quality and the delivery deadline. He expresses to the Project Manager his material and human needs according to the workload as well as the associated logistics.
Responsibilities
In this role, he or she ensures:
- The supervision of its staff and the management of the site entrusted to it
- The expression of the logistical needs necessary for the site
- Compliance with safety and radiation protection rules
- Staff evaluation
- Technical support for its team staff
- Direct relationship with certain customer representatives for needs or problems such as logistics, easements, safety, hygiene and security
- The traceability of all actions and events relating to its activity
- Modular preparation with participation in the installation and folding of the equipment
- The good conditions of use of the equipment as well as the logistical follow‑up
- Participation in the preparation of hardware, software and documents related to its activity
- Provision of training in his field of competence
- Participation in process improvements, development, testing and qualifications
Relations
- Internal:
- He leads his teams
- He is placed under the functional authority of the Project Manager during the execution of the site
- It reports to the operations manager
- External:
- External on‑site relationship with anyone from the various EDF departments in the context of unit shutdown activities
- Customer
Skills
- Knowledge:
- Minimum technical skills in one of the following fields: mechanics, materials, radiation protection, welding
- Nuclear
- Know‑how:
- Technical Skills (OFC & MTC – 10 years required)
