Site Lead
- Assume full technical responsibility for site personnel and ensure the launch, organization, and supervision of the field teams.
- Serve as the client’s primary technical point of contact throughout the project, responding to requests in accordance with the contractual framework. - Optimize the technical, contractual, and economic performance of interventions. - Comply with and enforce Westinghouse contractual and internal requirements.
- Provide the client with advice and expertise related to the intervention.
- Complete all tracking and traceability documents and use feedback to propose areas for improvement.
- Update documentation, tools, and practices based on operational feedback (REX)
- Preparing activities in line with site preparation milestones (work package, planning, resources, etc.).
- Expressing logistical needs required for site operations.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and radiological protection rules.
- Evaluating personnel and reporting attendance data to the Site Manager/Project Manager
- Providing technical support and coaching to team members.
- Managing relations with client representatives regarding logistics, access, safety, hygiene, and security.
- Ensuring traceability of all actions and events related to the activity.
- Reporting any deviations in quality, safety, radiological protection, or security.
- Managing equipment installation and teardown phases.
- Managing refurbishment of the equipment
- Ensuring proper use and monitoring of equipment in collaboration with the Work Package Owner. Additional Responsibilities
- Delivering training within your area of expertise. - Participating in improvements, development, testing, and qualification of processes
- Functional supervision of intervention teams.
- Reports functionally to the Project Manager during site execution.
- Reports hierarchically to the Operations Manager
- Technical expertise in at least one of the following fields: mechanics, electrotechnics, electronics, NDE.
- Knowledge of the nuclear industry.
- Fluent English and French
- Strong technical background with experience in field operations (TV inspection, mechanical activities, piping, NDT – minimum 5 years).
- Team management and coaching skills.
- Interface management and client relationship skills.
- Strong writing, synthesis, and communication abilities
