SIM Team Leader M/F

Responsibilities

Within the Research & Innovation team:

• Take full charge of the development of the SIM products
• Create and maintain product specifications, validate new SIM products, and ensure interoperability for new product introduction, timely launch and go-to-market activities
• Develop and maintain the relationships with the selected SIM manufacturers on a day-to-day basis
• Lead the definition and execution of new technology roadmap and trials (e.g. 5G SA and iSIM), including identifying and sourcing necessary test equipment and conducting relevant testing activities
• Handle all the internal and external queries about SIM products
• Act as the internal subject-matter expert on SIM management capabilities and roadmap for internal stakeholders (e.g. network, SIM technology, OTA services and RSP evolutions)
• Communicate regularly across different functions with senior management and executives to ensure expected outcomes and objectives are met
• Work closely with the operational team, acting as SN3/SN4 for any SIM related topic.

Profile

Bac+5/ BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

Experience

• Experience with M2M/IoT modules
• Experience with consumer cellular devices
• Experience with software development using Java, C and/or Python
• Experience working remotely in a multicultural environment
• Experience working in a tech start-up like environment

Key Requirements

• Experience in Wireless Telecom, including activations and provisioning with demonstrated understanding of device and SIM interactions and SIM card’s role in Network access and usage
• Experience in SIM technology & product roll-out and device management, including product configuration, feature and offering integration, new product introduction, and full lifecycle management
• Knowledge of testing and certification of UICC/SIM/eSIM/eUICC
• Understanding of SIMs and device specifications in industry forums (e.g. 3GPP, ETSI, GSMA)
• Experience providing an in-depth business and technical expertise on new SIM architectures, key management, and cryptographic function
• Experience in SIM secure element and SIM card applet development
• In depth knowledge of authentication algorithms (e.g. Milenage), processes, and mechanisms
• In depth knowledge of essential algorithms (e.g. 3DES, AES, RSA, ECC etc)
• Proven experience of Key Ceremony
• Proven experience of BAP/BAT process
• Ability to debug APDU logs
• Understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G network architecture, network service provisioning, Over the Air (SCP, and ), Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP), and 3GPP protocols
• In depth knowledge of industry standards: 3GPP ., ., ISO 6, ETSI , , , GSMA SGP , etc.
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Passion for working on new technologies in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
