Job Overview

Software Developer at GDIT providing SharePoint solutions for U.S. Army Europe mission‑critical projects. Responsibilities include managing on‑prem SharePoint, supporting cloud transition of unclassified network, and delivering site‑management services.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison to perform requirement analysis with stakeholders from all staff sections.
• Create custom SharePoint solutions to meet identified requirements.
• Build PowerBI reports and dashboards for data visualization.
• Develop custom solutions using mature SDLC practices.
• Conduct functional, non‑functional, and code testing.
• Manage and modernize sites, web parts, portals, and tools.
• Ensure proper access control and administer SharePoint permissions.
• Maintain technical documentation for end‑users and back‑end users.
• Support transition of unclassified network to cloud and maintain classified SharePoint network.
• Implement SharePoint policies as determined by IKM and document site standards, policies, and IKM standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience). Additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• 4+ years of related experience in software development or SharePoint administration.
• Proficiency in SharePoint development, content administration, and site management.
• Experience with SharePoint Modern and Classic pages, lists, libraries, web parts, and navigation.
• Implementation of role‑based access control (RBAC) and SharePoint Security Engineering.
• Knowledge or experience with PowerBI, SPFx, APIs, and JSON.
• Security clearance: must currently possess Secret clearance and be able to obtain Secret clearance.
• US citizenship required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE) and ITIL Foundation (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Must be able to obtain Belgian SOFA.

• US citizenship mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $106,250 – $143,750, based on experience, location, and contract terms. International assignments may receive additional allowances, premium uplifts, and relocation or transportation benefits.

Work Location

BEL Mons – Rue Grande (APC300). Travel required: less than 10%. Telecommuting: onsite.
