Services Software Architect

Role Description

• Act as key Contributor of the VALUE ENGAGEMENT framework
• During mainly Value Commitment and Value Delivery phases of the VALUE ENGAGEMENT, work with the Solution Architect to bring software expertise, feasibility studies, securing functionality and compatibility with existing systems, sizing and recommendations on customer projects
• Define or review the workload, the tasks, the target schedule, the necessary hardware and software resources
• Define the required Project Development Environment and lead the definition of the Development Quality Plan
• Conduct interview with customer to gather requirements on the integration of IT landscape of the customer and in particular on interfaces / upgrade / migration with the 3D EXPERIENCE platform
• Follow implementation of the required Project Development Environment with the Deployment Consultant
• Write from the functional specifications, the Technical Specification Dossier defining all needed Developments / Parameterizations aligned with R&D best practices
• Assess the technical risk on Developments / Parameterizations
• Work together with Infrastructure Architect, Solution Architect and Project Manager to secure projects deadlines
• Collect the necessary information by identification of possible root causes to facilitate the fast treatment of incident
• Define and Implement strategy to detect ICT problems and performance issues
• Provide on customer new requests and scope changes the impact analysis, sizing and planning modification and Purpose evolution of the defined architecture framework.
• Guide Software Consultant team, by defining and arbitrating delivery priorities, assigning tasks, resolving conflicts in agreement with Project Manager, to ensure development delivery on time, on quality and on costs
• Integrate the various software components, parameterizations and after tests, deliver the integration package with the expected quality criteria, in compliance with the VALUE ENGAGEMENT

Mandatory

• Degree in Engineering or Advanced Sciences
• 3-5 years’ experience in a Software Expert / Software Architect role
• Native level Japanese skill is mandatory.

Optional

• Deep knowledge of 3DS technologies
• 5-10 years’ experience on PLM implementation/deployment
