Service Sales Development Manager EMEA West (m/f/d)

This role is part of the Equipment Service Sales Organization, fully remote with about 50% travel across the EMEA West Zone (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg).
Responsibilities
- Build close, long‑lasting relationships with customers’ key opinion leaders on all service‑related matters for Cytiva bioprocess hardware and identify technical trends to offer next‑generation service solutions.
- Act as the internal technical consultant for Account Managers, Hardware Specialists, etc., on all service‑related matters for Cytiva bioprocess equipment and secure revenue by actively building a sales pipeline of bioprocess parts, contracts, and billable services.
- Partner with Service Sales to develop a commercial offering that meets customers’ needs and lead the technical and service‑related discussion with customer subject matter experts, hold product and scientific presentations, and represent Cytiva at relevant conferences in the territory.
- Take personal ownership of the complete sales process, including complex commercial negotiations with customers on site, especially for upgrades for Cytiva bioprocess hardware, and handle foreign‑language correspondence when necessary.
- Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within the designated territory, using sales tools and applications.
Qualifications
- University degree in biosciences/biotechnology and/or Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biochemical engineering or biology, or several years of hands‑on experience delivering bioprocess service to customers.
- Solid commercial experience in a technical environment, strong commercial acumen or willingness to develop the needed skills to develop sales opportunities up to successful closure.
- Self‑starter – able to manage time, organize and prioritize workload.
- Fluent in French and English. Italian or Spanish is a plus.
Additional Experience (Preferred)
- Deeper understanding of biopharma customers’ needs and business drivers, using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies.
- Experience working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities through successful execution.
