Service/Product Designer (B2B SaaS)

Requirements

  • Simplify complexity. You know how to translate complex logistics and operations into intuitive solution for end users
  • Holistic thinking. You think in flows before screens, and see the whole before the parts. You understand the end-to-end experience across all actors: clients, internal teams, suppliers, and automated systems. You identify where friction, inefficiency, or failure lives — whether or not it has a digital surface. You break silos and take responsibility and drive alignment outside the scope of your team when necessary
  • First principles. You'd rather eliminate a step than optimize it, and you start by questioning whether the problem is correctly framed before designing any solution. You strip away assumptions, legacy constraints, and inherited workflows to ask what the experience would look like if you designed it from scratch today
  • Outcome orientation. You measure yourself against real results, not design artifacts
  • Data literacy. You understand how data is produced, structured, and used within complex services. You can design for data quality and help teams understand what information they actually need and how to apply it
  • From flow to finish. You find the right solution at the right level — knowing when a problem calls for a service blueprint, a restructured flow, or a polished interface, and executing each with rigor. When a UI needs to exist, you make it well: clear hierarchy, considered interaction patterns, strong visual quality
  • Business fluency. You can read a room of operators, finance teams, or commercial leads and translate what you hear into design decisions
  • Communication and storytelling. You can make a service blueprint land with an engineer or a CEO, you work closely with vertical teams to translate ideas and solutions into production, and you help drive alignment across teams on complex projects
  • AI curiosity. You're genuinely curious about what AI can and can't do in a service context. You think carefully about trust, transparency, error states, and the design of human-machine handoffs — not just the surface layer. You always explore how AI can optimize your process
  • (Desirable) Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Product and/or Service Designer, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS or complex web applications
  • (Desirable) Strong Portfolio: You can walk us through real case studies where you solved complex problems. We want to see the “Why” and “How”
  • (Desirable) Technical Understanding: You're comfortable with the building blocks of the web (HTML, CSS...). You have a good understanding of what AI can and cannot do, and how this can impact design decisions and user experience. You understand how data is being gathered, structured and used
  • (Desirable) English First: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

What the job involves

  • Naboo is also a B2B procurement platform
  • What does that mean?
  • It means that even if we sell one platform, we solve for two fundamentally different and equally important problems:
  • Experience: Designing and organizing the perfect event, where the experience is human, bespoke, emotional. Here we are a highly specialized event agency
  • Control: Spend visibility, compliance, consolidated billing, negotiated discounts, corporate payment cards. Here we are a cutting edge procurement platform
  • For a designer, this is an unusually rich problem space. You will be designing for two opposed mental models: The event organizer wants delight, inspiration, and speed; The procurement and finance stakeholder wants constraint, auditability, and policy enforcement. Naboo has to make these sides come together in a unified experience
  • The core of the role: reconciling consumer-grade desirability with enterprise-grade control, in a category that's being reshaped by agents
  • The team is based in beautiful offices in central Paris and works in a hybrid mode, with 3 days per week onsite
  • You'll work strategically and conceptually to design and define the end to end user experience of your service/product area
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other designers to ensure holistic thinking and a solid user experience across verticals
  • Conduct user interviews, analyze data and find high level solutions to our most critical challenges and business needs
  • Partner with (Design) Engineers within verticals to turn high level solutions into finished, state of the art user experiences
  • Define and co-own UX success metrics for your project
