Broadly, a GEPSA service or site manager is responsible for implementing and monitoring the contractual commitments that come under his/her remit. He/she is in charge of the direct management and management by proxy of one or more teams, aiming at customer satisfaction. Depending on his level of experience, degree of managerial maturity and set of skills, he may be responsible for:

  • canteen service
  • Manufacturing workshops service
  • Maintenance service
  • the site in its entirety (in this case, he is in charge of managing all the service managers mentioned above)

Just like the manager of any profit centre, he provides a unique point of contact for the client according his particular area of specialization, and handles the budget for the service or site he’s in charge of.
