Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated person to reinforce the Field Service Operations team.As a Service Engineer, you will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services.
You will act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company’s reputation for commitment and service.
Tetra Pak will give you the opportunity to increase your knowledge and gain experience in mechanics and electronics by performing services on our clients’ sites mainly in France, and occasionally in EU Countries.
Expected traveling of more than 80%.
What you will do
- Lead, install, and commission Tetra Pak processing equipment or full lines
- Install and commission upgrades (process, automation, or mechanical)
- Train customer operators & maintenance technicians
- Troubleshoot and solve simple & complex (process, automation, mechanical) issues
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for processing equipment
- Prepare quality reports promptly: technical assistance reports, maintenance reports, etc.
- Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers including support and follow-up
We believe you have
- Technical education in electromechanical with automation skills
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial installations, maintenance, and/or service work, but we are open for graduates as well
- Enthusiastic, service-oriented, and flexible team player
- Able to take responsibility for customer equipment and satisfaction
- English knowledge in word and writing
- Electrical skills:
- Being able to read and understand electrical schemes
- Being able to perform electrical work and troubleshooting
- Understanding of PLCs (preferably Siemens)
- Able to upload and download a program
- Able to understand and modify software preferably S7, TIA Portal (it is not required that you know how to develop a program)
- Industrial software: knowledge of Aveva (Wonderware) software is nice to have
- Compliance with all safety regulations
- Class B driver's license
