Job Description
Back Market would be nothing without our valued Sellers, who provide our customers with the latest refurbished products. As the Seller Mass‑Account Manager Intern on the Seller Lifecycle team, you will partner with refurbishers and support them to offer customers the best products in terms of quality and price. You will focus on portfolio management with hundreds of accounts, data‑driven decision making, seller consulting, and cross‑functional business initiatives that directly impact our marketplace growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage a large portfolio of sellers (refurbishers) at scale and drive the global sales and quality performance of the portfolio through strategic account management.
- Transform raw data into business gold—analyze complex databases, identify KPI trends, and provide actionable insights that move the needle.
- Lead cross‑functional strategic projects to develop and implement tailored solutions for our vendor ecosystem.
- Drive Back Market’s explosive growth by contributing to high‑stakes transversal projects (Black Friday campaigns, market diversification, new business initiatives, etc.).
Qualifications
- Looking for a 12‑month apprenticeship that offers real responsibility and strategic impact.
- French and English fluency (C1 minimum) — you’ll be managing international seller relationships (bonus points for additional languages!).
- Business‑savvy with analytical superpowers — ideally with previous commercial experience, especially in e‑commerce.
- Excel master — pivot tables, data manipulation, and turning numbers into stories are your jam.
- Salesforce experience is a huge plus — but we’ll train the right candidate.
- Highly organized with exceptional communication skills and a "get stuff done" mentality.
- Natural collaborator who thrives in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
Recruitment Process
- Video‑call HR interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (30 min).
- Live Business Case Study and Skills Fit Interview with your future manager (45 min).
- Cultural Fit Interview with another member of the team (30 min).
Why Should You Join Us?
At Back Market, we’re committed to hiring and supporting diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. It’s one of the reasons we’re a high‑scoring certified B Corp company (93.2).
Benefits
- A mission‑driven work environment where your day‑to‑day makes an impact on the planet. Seriously.
- Hybrid work environment, with 2 remote days a week and 1 remote work week per quarter, plus 3 flex days.
- Employee Resource Groups, including mentorship programs, comprehensive accessibility policies, and cultural competency training.
Additional Information
We know that the perfect background for a role doesn’t mean the perfect fit — we encourage you to apply for a role even if you think you may not have all the qualifications.
If reasonable accommodations are needed for the interview process, please do not hesitate to discuss this with the Talent Acquisition Team.
