Job position pitchWhere will you be in the organization?The divisionYou will join the Group Security division, defining the security standards to be applied by AXA entities, overseeing the overall security posture across the Group and providing centralized services to support entities (Crisis Management, Security Operations Centre, etc.).Throughout AXA Group, the security community represents composed of 1000 security professionals, working daily to protect our customers, operations, brand and people. To achieve this, we have gathered our three security disciplines: Information Security, Physical Security and Operational Resilience.Our Main Missions

• Monitor the Security Threat Landscape
• Define and oversee Security Standards and Strategy implementation across the Group
• Drive local security objectives with C-Level executive (COO, CIO, CTO, CFO…) of AXA entities
• Ensure the security of Group Operations as an entity
• Provide centralized security services and products to AXA entities

AXA Group Security is divided in 4 main blocks :

• Corporate functions (Group Mandate) : Security Advisory and Standards, Security Governance, Security Risk & Assurance, Security Strategy and Awareness
• CyberDefense (Group security services and products provider)
• Group Operations Security (Security of the hosting entity)
• Corporate Chief Security Officers (Oversight of entities’ security) : Corporate Centre, European Markets, International Markets

The department / teamThe Strategy and Awareness team is setting up the vision based on research and anticipation & raising security awareness.The Security Strategy And Awareness Team Oversees

• Security Threat Anticipation & Research: Bring the outside in and the inside out
• Security Strategy: Drive security beyond resilience to become a partner in trust
• Security Awareness & Behavior: Disseminate and make adopt the security culture

About The JobJob purpose

• Contribute to the Security Strategy design and operation (85% of the job)

AXA Group Security has the mandate to define the Security Strategy of AXA and review the local security strategies to make sure they are aligned and adequate to meet the group requirements. Today AXA has decided to accelerate the effort on the smaller entities of the group and this effort will require additional resources inside Security strategy and awareness team.Today AXA is also started working on the next strategic cycle 2027 - 2029 where we will need to learn from previous strategic cycles and pivot to serve the new business and IT ambition.The position will have a key impact on the design and update of AXA security strategy:

• Help local entities deliver their security strategy but also pivot to help the larger entities better strategize on how they cover their subsidiaries
• Deep dive on certain strategic topics like how to secure cloud, how to secure the health business, etc.
• Engage with different levels of stakeholders (business stakeholders, external analysts and experts, technology firms, governance bodies, external forums and peers) to ensure a homogeneous and right level of security in the full perimeter of the organization
• Support the development and delivery of the security strategy of the group: In addition to prioritize the effort within the running strategic cycle, the new joiner will need to contribute to the new strategic lifecycle
• Prepare high level presentation for Executives to explain strategic prioritization to both local Executives and Group Executives.
• Research and thought leadership (15% of the job)
• Contribute to the thought leadership initiatives and engagement program driven by the team for Group Security with both internal and external partners

AXA is joining the French Campus Cyber and has the ambition to be leader of Dow Jones Sustainability index

• Coordinate the actions of the different AXA people engaged in the Campus Cyber activities.
• Contribute to preparing the relevant information to the Dow Jones Sustainability index and other benchmarks
• Contribute to Security Research and Innovation
AXA needs to anticipate upcoming trends in technology so as to cover for the possible emerging security issues.

• Contribute to the ongoing research and analysis of emerging technology, risks and industry trends.
• Complete or contribute to a security horizon scanning to anticipate new processes, technologies, and solutions to be implemented
• Write short briefing documents on topical security issues (including cyber security, physical security, and operational resilience)
• Make sure to share the findings in newsletters or events.

Expected Skills & ExperienceWe are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:Experience

• Business strategy/Consulting/Finance
• Security
• Tech and data / data science

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, IT or a related subject.
• An MSc in Information Security would be desirable but is not essential, a PhD is a plus.

Certification

• Information Security and /or Information Technology industry certification (CISSP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent) preferred
• Member of CIISec or have the qualifications, skills and experience to become a member

Overall Work Experience In The Fields

• Experience in Security > 5 years (required) Experience in converged security environments is a plus
• Experience in delivering Strategy
• Experience in Data Science/Data Analysis
• Experience in security technical domains such as Cloud, Data protection, Identity and Access Management, AI or Security in RPA/Automation will be a plus

Language

• Fluent in English is a necessity (including technical Information security English)
• French is a plus
