About the role: OpenAI is looking for a Security Operations Manager in Paris to oversee corporate and physical security across multiple European locations. This role involves leading security efforts for the Paris office, supporting Brussels, and coordinating regional security for other European cities. You will act as a key security partner for local teams, vendors, and global security colleagues.

What you'll do
- Manage daily physical security operations for the Paris office and support Brussels.
- Arrange regional security coverage for Munich, Zurich, and other European cities for business activities, events, or executive visits.
- Implement security controls such as access management, visitor procedures, vendor coordination, incident response, and emergency preparedness.
- Collaborate with Workplace, Legal, HR, EHS, and local leadership to ensure effective and employee-friendly security practices.
- Assist with event and executive visit planning, including clear escalation paths and risk mitigation.
- Improve vendor performance, operational standards, reporting, and remediation tracking.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in corporate security, physical security, protective services, emergency management, public service, military, or law enforcement.
- Experience leading physical security operations in a modern office, preferably in technology, professional services, or finance.
- Experience managing security vendors or guard forces, including post orders, performance, and incident standards.
- Strong incident management skills, covering response, documentation, escalation, and communication.
- Practical knowledge of access management, visitor management, reception security, vendor oversight, and site emergency readiness.
- Understanding of corporate security operations in Paris or France, including workplace, privacy, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in Paris and Brussels, with regional support for Munich, Zurich, and other European cities.
- Professional English proficiency.
