As a Security Operations Analyst, you'll work with realistic incident scenarios to help train and evaluate AI models that reason through alerts, investigations, and threat response the way experienced analysts actually do. Your hands‑on security knowledge will directly shape how frontier AI understands and navigates the modern threat landscape.

About The Role

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — alerts, incidents, and investigations — to assess what's happening and why it matters.
• Classify severity levels, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions.
• Review detection logic and investigation workflows for accuracy and real‑world alignment.
• Evaluate AI-generated security outputs and flag gaps between AI reasoning and analyst best practices.
• Provide structured, expert feedback that shapes how AI systems handle future threat scenarios.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations.
• Hands‑on familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows.
• Strong ability to distinguish true threats from noise and false positives.
• Methodical thinker who can clearly articulate security reasoning in writing.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently on task‑based assignments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or purple team exercises.
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST.
• Background working across diverse environments (cloud, endpoint, network).
• Prior experience in AI evaluation or annotation workflows.
