Security Consultant – Vulnerability Intelligence & Attack Surface Management

Next Ventures is partnering with a leading global industrial group specialising in construction materials and sustainable building solutions to recruit an experienced Security Consultant focused on Vulnerability Intelligence and Attack Surface Management.

The Role

You will help strengthen the organisation’s vulnerability-management and external attack-surface capabilities. Working with vulnerability management, security and infrastructure teams, you will:

• Monitor and assess newly published vulnerabilities
• Identify affected assets and prioritise critical security risks
• Track highly critical vulnerabilities through remediation
• Map and monitor the organisation’s external digital attack surface
• Review and validate findings produced by Qualys, Patrowl and other security tools
• Automate vulnerability qualification, exposure analysis and security workflows
• Develop scripts for data extraction, enrichment and correlation
• Improve vulnerability intelligence, ASM and remediation processes
• Support the development of offensive Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities

Essential Experience

• Strong vulnerability-management experience
• Experience assessing and prioritising newly published vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of Vulnerability Intelligence and Attack Surface Management
• Experience identifying exposed internet-facing assets
• Ability to validate and challenge vulnerability-scanning results
• Scripting or automation experience
• Strong understanding of asset inventories, CMDBs and security data
• Experience coordinating remediation with technical and business stakeholders
