We are a small team and every hire changes the company. We'd rather move slowly and get the right person than move fast and compromise the bar. If you are exceptional — apply. If you are not sure — apply anyway and show us.

The process

1. Application review We read every application personally. Most don't make it past this stage — not because of credentials, but because of how people think. You'll hear back within 5 business days.
2. 30 minutes with a founder Direct and honest — we'll tell you exactly what we're building, what the role demands, and what we'd expect from you in the first 90 days.
3. Technical interview — 45 min, no AI A live coding session with one of our engineers, tracked by one of our own AI agents. You will solve real features in real time. No AI tools, no hints. We expect speed, clarity, and clean thinking under pressure. This is where we separate good from exceptional.
4. Real test A paid technical challenge or 2–3 day on‑site. The bar is deliberately high — this is where most candidates don't make it through. We pay for your time because we respect it.
5. Offer If you're the right person, we move fast. No committee, no drawn‑out loops. We've made offers within 24 hours of the final stage.

What we look for

• You have shipped things that actually work, at scale, under pressure.
• You take full ownership — the problem is yours until it is solved.
• You think in first principles, not in best practices.
• You write with precision and make decisions with incomplete information.
• You hold yourself to a standard most companies would consider unreasonable.
• No reference checks.

We trust what we test. Our process is designed to give us a clear, direct signal — we do not ask for references. If we ever need to verify something specific, we will reach out to the company directly ourselves.

AI‑monitored technical interview

Step 03 of our process uses one of our own deployed AI agents to track the interview in real time — response quality, problem decomposition, speed of reasoning. It is the same technology we build for our customers, used on us.
