SE - TC System Engineer

Purpose of the Job
Defines the architecture and functionalities of subsystems in charge of the Train Controm Métier (PACIS, CCTV, Multimedia, Event recorder, Train Ground Communication, ATC/Safety equipment) in compliance with different requirements. Ensures integration into the train and follows up with ADM/T&P or suppliers.

Performance Measurement / KPI's
- Quality of delivery (including sub‑contractor delivery)
- Functional Change Request defects < 75% of defects raised on previous projects
- Respect of the delivery planning (including sub‑contractor delivery): 100% on time delivery
- Level of application of standard methodologies and processes: 100%
- Continuous improvement or Return on Experience (RoE) management from previous projects: 0 missing RoE
Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivering subsystem documentation (Requirement Specification and Architecture Description RSAD, Technical Purchase Specification TPS, Interface Control Document ICD)
- Define and implement functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements for the dedicated subsystem
- Integrate the subsystem into the train mechanically and electrically
- Define mechanical and electrical interfaces for the subsystem
- Verify the subsystem (focus on train level) including design reviews
- Manage change and configuration processes for the subsystem at train level
- Control changes after design changes, including impact analysis
- Plan and follow up all activities linked to the subsystem
- Support sourcing, suppliers and support teams (PUs, S&A Engineers, Interior engineers, RAMS engineers, validation engineers)
- Provide inputs to engineering team, sourcing, suppliers or PUs
Knowledge & Experience
- Junior electrical engineer, no specific experience needed (guided by a senior engineer) OR experienced engineer (3 years experience with the dedicated subsystem in rail business)
- Understanding of the system engineering process and mastery of a system engineering methodology (e.g. SysML)
- Fluent English
