You are a driven and passionate classic car fan with a relentless hunger for success. You are a natural-born negotiator and can spot opportunities in every interaction. You'll have experience making a high-volume of outbound calls to prospect clients.
You are an organised and persuasive individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment for a rapidly growing tech business.
About the role
You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, proactively reaching out to classic and performance car owners, collectors and dealers to introduce them to our market-leading auction platform.
You’ll be responsible for identifying high-potential sellers, qualifying leads and securing vehicle consignments to fuel our live auction listings. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in outbound sales, a passion for classic cars, and an eagerness to be part of a fast-growing marketplace.

Car & Classic is one of the largest automotive marketplaces in the world. We’re lucky to have thousands of user-generated listings submitted monthly with content gems from James Bond’s Aston DB5 to Elvis Presley’s Cadillac. The site is old, launched in 2005 but under new, VC-backed ownership since 2018 and on an exciting triple-digit growth journey to bring classic vehicle transactions online.

Role and responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting
- ☎️ Make 50+ connected outbound calls per day to classic and performance car owners, collectors, and dealers.
- ✉️ Conduct personalised outreach via phone and email to generate interest in consigning vehicles.
