Job Summary
As a Scrum Master, you enable Agile teams to deliver high‑quality products efficiently and consistently for the Website, Webshop, and REMIT product teams. Acting as a servant leader, you support both the Scrum Team and the broader organization in achieving optimal performance.
- Enhancing delivery flow and predictability
- Reducing cross‑team dependencies and bottlenecks
- Driving continuous improvement in a complex, multi‑product environment
You develop a strong understanding of the broader product ecosystem to identify constraints, foster collaboration, and improve delivery efficiency—while remaining independent of product decision‑making.
Scope
- Website: Customer journeys, UX, and digital experience
- Webshop: Commercial flows, transactions, and revenue‑generating features
- REMIT: Cross‑team coordination and data/compliance‑related initiatives
Key Responsibilities
1. Optimize Delivery Flow & Team Performance
Drive continuous improvement from Scrum ceremonies to delivery outcomes by:
- Improving lead time, throughput, and sprint predictability
- Identifying and challenging bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and overcommitment patterns
2. Enable Effective Agile & DevOps Practices
Promote and support best practices, including:
- CI/CD adoption and release standardization
- Test automation and quality improvement
- Guide teams toward:
- End‑to‑end ownership (“build & run”)
- Increased autonomy and accountability
- Proactively identify dependencies across teams and products
- Facilitate alignment between teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders
- Monitor macro, market, and technology trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments to anticipate opportunities and risks.
4. Support Product‑Oriented Delivery
Collaborate closely with Product Owners to:
- Ensure backlog clarity and readiness
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering business value
When needed, represent the Product Owner or Product Team in discussions related to projects, initiatives, or issue resolution.
Develop a solid understanding of product‑specific challenges:
- UX/UI complexity (Website)
- Transaction flows (Webshop)
- Regulatory and data constraints (REMIT)
5. Remove Organizational Impediments
Act beyond team‑level support to:
- Address cross‑team and structural impediments
- Slow decision‑making processes
- Misaligned priorities across teams
Define, track, and leverage key performance indicators such as:
- Delivery predictability
- Cycle time
- Deployment frequency
Use retrospectives as powerful tools for continuous improvement and measure success through:
- Improved sprint predictability (aligned with Product Owner targets)
- Reduced lead time
- Fewer cross‑team blockers
- Increased deployment frequency
- Greater team autonomy (qualitative and measurable)
Key Requirements
Hard Skills
- Agile & Scrum Expertise: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent, with several years of hands‑on experience in Agile environments
- Agile & DevOps Practices: Strong knowledge of DevOps, with a solid understanding of CI/CD, test automation, and release management practices
- Agile Tooling: Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence, as well as collaboration platforms like Miro and Microsoft Teams
- Performance & Flow Management: Ability to define, track, and analyze key delivery metrics (lead time, cycle time, throughput, predictability, deployment frequency)
- Backlog & Delivery Support: Experience working with Product Owners on backlog clarity, prioritization, and value‑driven delivery
- Cross‑Team Coordination: Proven ability to identify and manage dependencies across multiple teams and product lines

- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Clearly articulate complex concepts and align both technical and non‑technical stakeholders; Build trust and drive alignment across teams

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification required. Additional certifications in Agile coaching, SAFe, DevOps, Lean, or Project Management would be considered an asset.
- Proven track record of improving delivery predictability, optimizing team performance, and facilitating collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Familiar with digital platforms, e‑commerce solutions, and customer‑facing products, with a focus on delivering business value and enhancing team autonomy.
Location
Your work location will be preferably Paris or Amsterdam with an attractive hybrid work policy.
