Scrum Master (trading systems)
Job Summary:
The Scrum Master plays a critical role in maximizing delivery performance and team effectiveness within the M7 Trading product team, in a business and product-oriented organization.
More than a facilitator of Scrum ceremonies - in a context of outsourced engineering delivery, where product ownership and quality remain in-house while an affiliated group entity delivers engineering - this role focuses on optimizing delivery flow, strengthening team autonomy, and enabling predictable outcomes in a mission-critical trading environment.
You will act as a system-level enabler, supporting the team and the wider organization to remove constraints, improve collaboration, and continuously enhance delivery performance - while maintaining a clear boundary from product decision-making.
Key Focus Areas :
- Delivery performance & predictability: Drive improvements in flow metrics (lead time, throughput, predictability) and help the team deliver consistently in a high-stakes environment
- Team autonomy & accountability: Strengthen team ownership, maturity, decision-making, and accountability for outcomes
- System-wide optimization: Identify and remove bottlenecks across teams, dependencies, and organizational boundaries
- Outsourced delivery model: Navigate and optimize collaboration challenges specific to an internal/outsourced organizational setup – within the company’s group.
- Continuous improvement at scale: Enable data-driven improvement in a multi-product, highly interdependent environment
- Serves the team, Product Owner, and organization as a delivery and flow enabler
- Does not own product decisions, but ensures the conditions for effective product delivery
- Operates at both team level and system level
- Operates within a cross-company delivery model – our provider being part of the company’s group - acting as a bridge between product needs, an outsourced development organization and customer acceptance
- Includes delivery coordination, stakeholder alignment, and dependency management across organizational boundaries
