Created in 2009, ESSP is a young and dynamic company, a pan-European service provider certified by EASA to deliver safety-critical services. Our mission is to operate and provide Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) services, among which the main one is the EGNOS service on behalf of the EUSPA.
Responsibilities
- Real time monitoring and control of EGNOS V2 and V3 System under the ESSP responsibility.
- Substance and analysis of anomalies detected on the CCF subsystem and tracking their correction and qualification in compliance with the anomalies management process.
- Summarizing events for monthly client reports.
- Specification of technical evolution needs on CCF and monitoring developments, reviewing industry documentation and responding to the needs of the Operator, client or System Design authority.
- Technical maintenance of operational procedures and CCF maintenance procedures (analysis, realization and validation).
- Analysis of training needs and validation of training materials for the CCF procedures.
- Support to other CCF Engineers on daily corrective maintenance.
- Contribution to the development of software tools, resources needed for CCF and other subsystems maintenance and monitoring.
- Contribution to the development and maintenance of the EGNOS training simulators.
- Detection and analysis of any failure or abnormal event on the AIVP subsystem, writing Observation Reports and tracking corrections and qualifications.
- Development of AIVP tools to automate and facilitate use.
- Generation of AIVP configurations and maintenance of the AIVP.
- Review of AIVP documentation when new versions of EGNOS V3 are developed.
- Expert support on simulation platforms (SPEED for EGNOS V2 and Test Bed for EGNOS V3) for identification and analysis of anomalies related to platform administration.
Qualifications
- Engineer (or equivalent degree) with at least 3 years of experience in systems real-time supervision.
- Very good level of English (minimum B2).
- Team player, able to assume responsibility.
- Strong analysis, synthesis and writing abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft functions (Office, Project, etc.).
- Knowledge of software development standards and life cycles.
- Knowledge of EGNOS is an asset.
Job Specifications
- Available for punctual travels mainly in Europe.
- Subject to constraints of minimum presence during normal vacation periods (July/August, Christmas, February, Easter).
- Subject to on‑call duty.
- Job location: Toulouse, France.
- Type of contract: Full time - Permanent Contract.
