The Opportunity
We are working with a growing boutique SAP consulting firm looking to appoint an experienced SAP PP Consultant to its team in Paris.This is a permanent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a smaller, agile consulting environment with strong client exposure and greater ownership than is typically available within a large systems integrator.You will work closely with clients on SAP manufacturing and production planning requirements, supporting projects from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver SAP PP solutions across implementation, transformation and optimisation projects
- Lead workshops with business and manufacturing stakeholders
- Gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
- Configure and customise SAP PP in line with client requirements
- Support end-to-end processes across production planning and manufacturing
- Produce functional specifications and work closely with technical teams
- Manage testing, UAT, cutover and go-live activities
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement
- Advise clients on SAP PP best practice and process optimisation
- Collaborate with other SAP functional areas including MM, SD, QM and EWM
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong hands-on SAP PP experience
- Experience delivering SAP implementation, rollout or transformation projects
- Good understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes
- Hands-on SAP configuration capability
- Strong client-facing and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
- Fluent French
- Good professional English
- Able to work from Paris 3 days per week
Desirable:
- SAP S/4HANA experience
- S/4HANA migration or transformation project experience
- Integration knowledge across SAP MM, QM, SD or EWM
- Previous consulting experience
- Experience within discrete or process manufacturing environments
