SAP MM Techno-Functional Consultant

Our client within the Defence sector is looking for an experienced SAP MM Techno‑Functional Consultant to support procurement, inventory management and supply chain initiatives within a complex SAP environment.

The successful consultant will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to optimise procurement processes and ensure operational excellence across the SAP MM landscape.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse procurement and supply chain requirements
• Produce functional and techno‑functional specifications
• Configure and enhance SAP MM functionality including:
• Purchase Requisitions (PR)
• Purchase Orders (PO)
• Goods Receipts and Inventory Movements (MIGO)
• Material Master Data
• Vendor Master Data
• Collaborate with ABAP teams on developments and enhancements
• Support testing activities including SIT and UAT
• Provide incident management and user support
• Drive process improvements across procurement and logistics functions
• Ensure integration with FI, CO, SD and WM/EWM modules

Required Experience

• Proven SAP MM techno‑functional consulting experience
• Strong understanding of Purchasing and Inventory Management processes
• Master Data management expertise
• Experience working within integrated SAP environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously within complex organisations

• Hybrid Working: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Long‑term contract

• Experience: 3‑4+ years minimum
