SAP MDG / Master Data Governance Consultant - Paris Area - Hybrid
Working model: Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite per week
Languages: English mandatory, French and/or Spanish nice to have
We are currently looking for an experienced SAP MDG / Master Data Governance Consultant to support a major international SAP transformation within the logistics sector.
The organisation is moving from SAP ECC to S/4HANA and is implementing SAP MDG as a key part of the programme. Master data governance will play an important role in making the S/4HANA transformation successful, so we are looking for someone who can support both the SAP solution and the business around data governance processes.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams and technical teams to help design, implement and improve SAP MDG processes in a modern, cloud-ready S/4HANA environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of SAP MDG as part of an ECC to S/4HANA transformation
- Work on master data governance processes, workflows, approvals and data quality
- Help define and improve governance rules, ownership and master data processes
- Translate business requirements into SAP MDG and S/4HANA solutions
- Support data migration readiness, cleansing, validation and testing activities
- Collaborate with business users, SAP teams and technical teams across an international environment
- Support deployment, user adoption and post-go-live activities
Requirements
- Strong experience with SAP MDG / Master Data Governance
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or ECC to S/4HANA migration
- Good understanding of master data processes, data quality and governance
- Experience with SAP master data objects such as Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material or Finance master data
- Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders
- French and/or Spanish is a plus
