We're looking for an SAP Finance Solution Consultant who wants to build a genuinely international career. As a SAP Solution Consultant at Techwave, you own the client relationship across the full lifecycle through solution design, technical delivery and post-go-live success. Our clients span multiple countries and industries, which means this role is a genuine launchpad for anyone who wants to grow their career on an international stage: different cultures, different business environments, different SAP landscapes.

You'll work with some of Europe's most ambitious organisations, leveraging the latest SAP capabilities and you'll be the person clients trust to get it right, both before and after go-live.

Qualifications

• Strong Finance skills, with practical experience in financial processes and SAP Finance modules.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills and Financial Planning capabilities to interpret data, optimize processes, and support decision-making.
• Consulting experience, including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and delivering solutions in a client-focused environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO (or related SAP finance components), including configuration, testing, and support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage priorities independently, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Experience in digital transformation or ERP implementation projects and familiarity with Dutch or European business environments is an advantage.

What you will do

Solution Design & Advisory

Lead solution discussions, designing tailored S/4HANA landscapes that address clients' finance transformation goals.

Facilitate executive discovery workshops to uncover root-cause business challenges and define the strategic case for SAP adoption.

Prototype and demonstrate solutions using SAP and integration scenarios — bringing the art of the possible to life.

Delivery & Client Success

Remain actively involved after go-live — visiting client sites to support hypercare, resolve issues, and ensure the solution delivers its promised business value.

Provide hands-on functional and technical guidance during stabilisation phases, acting as the senior SAP expert clients can call on when it matters most.

Partner with delivery teams to review configurations, validate business process outcomes, and champion quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Proactively identify optimisation opportunities post-implementation and advise clients on how to unlock further value from their SAP investment.

Build long-term client relationships that go beyond the project — becoming a trusted advisor who clients return to for every new SAP challenge.

Thought Leadership & Enablement

Represent Techwave at SAP industry conferences, and client events across Europe — building the Techwave brand as an SAP innovation leader.

Develop reusable solution assets, demo scripts, and best-practice content that elevates the entire practice.

Stay current with SAP's product roadmap — including GROW with SAP, Joule AI co-pilot, BTP extensions, and sustainability solutions.
