About the Role

We are looking for a talented SAP FICO Consultant to support our team with SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) module implementations and configurations. This fully remote freelance position requires someone with strong autonomy, expertise in financial processes, and the ability to work closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP FICO modules
• Configure and customize SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) to meet client-specific needs
• Support integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, and PP)
• Optimize financial and controlling processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Conduct system testing and assist in the preparation and execution of rollout activities
• Collaborate effectively with internal and customer teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and resolving system-related issues

Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP FICO module implementation and configuration
• Strong understanding of financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) business processes and workflows
• Ability to analyze financial processes and propose solutions for optimization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently
• High degree of autonomy and flexibility in remote work settings
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on remote SAP implementation projects
• Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP)
• Previous freelance or contract experience
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot financial issues in SAP
