Role Description

This is a 6-month contract position in Frouard - France for a SAP FI/SD Functional Consultant. The consultant will analyze business requirements, design SAP FI and SD solutions, and configure system settings to support finance and sales processes. Responsibilities include translating business needs into functional specifications, working closely with technical teams on system enhancements, and performing unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. The role involves supporting end users, resolving incidents, and managing change requests to ensure stable and optimized SAP FI/SD operations. The consultant will also participate in workshops, documentation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business and financial data, identify gaps, and propose effective SAP FI/SD solutions.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills to collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, conduct workshops, and present solution options clearly.
• Solid understanding of business processes in finance and sales & distribution, including order-to-cash, billing, invoicing, general ledger, accounts receivable, and integration points.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI and SD configuration, testing, and support, including writing functional specifications and working with ABAP and technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field; SAP FI/SD certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation and rollout or major enhancement projects, preferably in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Familiarity with integration to other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP) and knowledge of best practices, documentation standards, and change management processes.
