SAP Coordinator for TEP Namibia

Airswift is currently looking for an SAP Coordinator to work with our client, an Oil and Gas Operator. The role will start on 1st July, is for a 12-month duration with renewal available, and is based in Pau, France. The position requires regular travel to Namibia – at least once a month, typically around 2 weeks after the onboarding period. TEP Namibia is a young subsidiary transitioning from development to production; it has recently deployed a TotalEnergies EP SAP ECC6 template and now needs the SAP coordinator to support operations, procurement, and future maintenance functions.

Responsibilities

• SAP Operation Support – Provide functional support and evolution across SAP environments (Finance, Contract & Procurement, and future business processes such as Maintenance Inspection). Deliver direct technical and functional support to the SAP Lead and Key Users, act as the affiliate SAP focal point, coordinate upgrades and version changes with HQ, identify end-user training needs, perform periodic functional tests, raise assistance tickets, liaise on testing and ticketing for new functionalities, supervise production implementation, follow up on tickets, and train a national resource to become the long-term SAP coordinator.
• SAP Authorizations Management – Create and remove SAP users, maintain local accounts, business roles and technical roles, implement mitigation plans in line with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) requirements, validate and control access assignments (including segregation of duties and Delegation of Authority), manage SOX IT affiliate controls, ensure compliance with SOX methodology, mitigate non-compliance risks, and produce monthly and quarterly GRC/KPI reports to HQ.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ECC6 – confirmed.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP FICO.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP Contrôle de gestion.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP GRC.
• Fluent in English.

The consultant will be located in Pau, where the E&P Finance BPO is located, and the BPO will provide onboarding and necessary training and resources for the person in charge to perform the mission successfully.
