SAP Consultant Order to Cash

Savencia is a historically decentralized group, composed of 120 legal entities and 90 production sites, spread across Europe, Asia, and America. The group is engaged in a strategic transformation aimed at improving its industrial performance, operational efficiency, and process harmonization, while preserving its local DNA and the specificity of its businesses (retail, industry, food service). The information system is based on a rich but heterogeneous SAP ecosystem, composed of seven platforms with their own functional and technical specificities, without a unified core model. In 2023, the acquisition of a company in Argentina introduced an eighth platform, natively integrated into SAP S/4HANA, marking a first step towards modernizing the application landscape. These platforms cover all the classic SAP modules (FI/CO, MM/SD/PP, APO, BW…) and manage about 80% of the group's business processes, making SAP a major strategic lever for its digital transformation. To support and evolve this complex environment, the group relies on a SAP Competence Center in Europe, composed of about 40 employees spread between France and Germany, as well as several international hubs covering the APAC and Americas regions.

Savencia continues its development and internationalization in the context of digital revolution. To continue supporting the Group's growth in Europe and internationally (Asia, America), particularly with the preparation of a major business transformation program based on S4HANA, we are looking for a SAP consultant to join the Finance team within the SAP Competence Center.

Your missions:

• Contribute to the S4 HANA program for the Order to Cash domain—from identifying business challenges and opportunities to building the Core Model, deploying it, and supporting the solution in the Group's subsidiaries.
• Manage SAP OTC (SD module) implementation projects within the Group's subsidiaries, including business relations, operational and budgetary monitoring, planning and deliverables management.
• Build and maintain the SAP OTC Core Model and ensure the development of requested evolutions by the subsidiaries. In close collaboration with other SAP domains, guarantee a comprehensive and cross-domain coherence of the model to support standardization, automation, and end-to-end business process efficiency.
• Contribute to the Application Maintenance activities of your domain, either by resolving incidents or developing application evolutions.
• In connection with the Business Relationship Manager and your domain Manager, build a techno-functional roadmap, integrating the Innovation and Digital components of the SAP application suite.

Your main activities:

• Understand business challenges and propose appropriate SAP solutions
• Lead or contribute to projects validated in the roadmap and ensure commitments (deadlines, costs, quality) are met with various business teams: Sales Administration, Supply, Customer Accounting, Management Control.
• Contribute to the S4 Hana transformation program: participate in building the S4 Hana Core Model, deploying it in the group's entities, and supporting it post-Go-Live for the Order to Cash domain. Operate with a Core Model approach in an international context, considering interoperability, integration, and data reference dimensions applied to the SAP SD domain.
• Implement deployment method standardization, consistent with the operating model and the persistence over time of a strong reference Core model
• Ensure SAP maintainability (documentation, knowledge management…)
• Adhere to 'Process and Control' best practices within the team.

Qualifications

Position open to candidates with higher education. An 'IT' option for openness and understanding of the challenges and issues of this function would be a plus.

At least 5 years of experience on SAP as a consultant in the sales domain (SD module), acquired in a consulting firm or industrial company with an international dimension is required (sector such as Consumer Goods, Food/Chemicals/Pharmacy, for example). Knowledge of integrations with MM/LE/FI modules is important. A first experience on S/4 HANA would be a plus.

Mastery of the main methods and tools used in project mode (V-cycle).

Fluent command of English is imperative, both spoken and written.

Cross-functional IT culture: ability to effectively communicate with technical teams, particularly in enterprise architecture and cybersecurity, and to understand issues related to other IT solutions.

Some travel is to be expected (frequency depending on projects), in France and Europe.
