Senior SAP CO Consultant / Finance Transformation Lead

The Opportunity

We are currently supporting a specialist transformation consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior SAP CO Consultant / Finance Transformation Lead to join its growing SAP and Business Transformation practice.

This role is ideal for a senior consultant who combines strong SAP Controlling expertise with finance transformation experience, stakeholder leadership, and consulting capability. You will work directly with CFOs, Finance Directors, and business leaders to shape and deliver finance transformation programmes across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Transformation

• Lead workshops with CFOs, Finance Directors, and senior stakeholders
• Analyse and improve finance operating models and processes
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP-enabled solutions
• Drive finance transformation initiatives and business change programmes
• Build trusted relationships with client leadership teams

SAP Delivery

Lead the design and implementation of:

• SAP CO
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Cost Centre Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Profit Centre Accounting
• SAP S/4HANA Finance

Work closely with related SAP areas including:

• SAP FI
• SAP MM
• SAP SD
• SAP PP

Programme Leadership

• Lead finance workstreams within large SAP transformation programmes
• Manage project planning, governance, and stakeholder engagement
• Coordinate offshore and onshore delivery teams
• Ensure successful delivery against scope, timeline, and quality objectives

Practice Development

• Mentor and develop junior consultants
• Support business development and client growth activities
• Contribute to proposals, bids, and client presentations
• Help strengthen and expand the SAP Finance consulting capability

Requirements

Essential

• 8+ years of SAP consulting experience
• Strong SAP CO expertise
• Multiple end-to-end SAP implementation programmes
• SAP S/4HANA Finance experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience leading teams, projects, or workstreams
• Fluent French and English

Highly Desirable

• SAP FI expertise
• Group Reporting experience
• Finance Transformation consulting experience
• Manufacturing, Retail, Luxury, or Telecommunications industry experience
