Conditions

Location: Based at the production site in Norway (Kongsvinger), 3 to 4 days a week. Travel to other sites (France) is required for benchmarking and on-the-job training.

Reporting line: Reports to the Salsus Finance Manager. Functional relationship with the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

Your Role

As an Industrial Management Control Engineer acting as the interface between Operations and Finance, you will share responsibility for implementing tools, controlling costs, monitoring performance, analyzing profitability, and valuing inventory.

Participate in developing and/or improving:

• processes (hourly rates, cost prices, costs of poor quality, etc.)
• systems (SCADA tool implementation in Q4 2026)

Ensure data accuracy and reliability, as well as compliance with Group policies.

Support operational teams as a business partner. Co-manage industrial performance and analyze variances (vs. standard and prior year).

Execute and structure:

• monthly industrial financial closings (Tool: SAP BC)
• budgeting processes and risk & opportunity tracking (Tool: Anaplan)

Qualifications

• Proven initial experience in an industrial setting, ideally in a processing environment
• Master’s-level engineering degree with a specialization in management

Key skills:

• Project management
• Knowledge of management/finance fundamentals
• Analytical mindset and continuous improvement approach
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI proficiency is a plus
• Fluent English essential

Personal qualities: organized, autonomous, team-oriented, tenacious, curious, proactive (able to propose ideas), strong communication skills (explaining concepts clearly), and a \"business partner\" mindset regarding relationships
