Salesforce Platform Engineer
THE PRODUCT(S) YOU WILL WORK ON / THE TEAM YOU WILL WORK WITH The discussion about the Product/Team will take place as part of the People Engagement Process and throughout the Onboarding phase. You will primarily work with Incubation & platforms products covering salesforce platform WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOUAs a Salesforce Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Salesforce solutions to meet business needs. You will ensure seamless integration with other platforms, maintain high standards of security and compliance, and contribute to automation and orchestration workflows.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and configure Salesforce features (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).Implement integrations using APIs, middleware, and job scheduling tools.Maintain data governance, security, and compliance across environments.Support incident resolution, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.Participate in testing, deployment, and documentation of Salesforce solutions.Collaborate with squads and chapters to deliver high-quality technical components.

Technical Expertise:- You have about 3-4 years' professional experienceStrong experience in Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce).Knowledge of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing rules.Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or Salesforce schedulers).Experience with integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware.Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.Passion for continuous learning and staying current with Salesforce technologies.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLSStrong technical background, with deep expertise in platform Architecture topics
Good understanding of tech standards & components for digital technologies & web hosting
Strong communication skills, with the ability to talk with both technical & non-technical stakeholders
Collaboration & teamwork, with the ability to work in an agile development environment
Good industry knowledge and insights into key challenges for the domain/family
Good leadership skills, with some ability to lead the architecture community
