Sales & Operations Planning Specialist
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales & Operations Planning Specialist to join our West team. This is a critical role ensuring our stock levels, demand forecasts, and that the order plans align with business targets and reports. You will be the key link between sales, operations, procurement, HQ, the factory, and distributors to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing excess inventory and reporting all processes efficiently and in a structured way.

Key Responsibilities
- Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Collaborate with European and HQ sales and marketing teams and local distributors to gather demand inputs and create accurate sales forecasts.
- Monitor trends, seasonality, and promotional impacts to refine demand plans.
- Supply Planning & Inventory Management
- Manage stock levels to meet agreed service levels while avoiding over or understock.
- Generate and place purchase orders with suppliers according to lead times and inventory policies.
- Track inbound shipments and manage exceptions.
- S&OP Process Management
- Facilitate regular S&OP meetings to align demand, supply, and financial targets.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for stock allocation and order priorities.
- Set, monitor, and advise on adjusting inventory and service level targets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as the main liaison between sales, operations, procurement, production and logistics teams.
- Communicate supply risks, constraints, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor KPIs (forecast accuracy, stock coverage, service level, inventory turns) and identify improvement actions.
- Provide regular performance reports to management.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
- Fluent in English; fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) highly preferred.
